Essentials for Brokers
Tiered Commission
Tiered (dynamic) Commission enables volume-based pricing where a trader’s fee rate decreases as their cumulative trading volume increases. Tiers are public in the UI, and traders can see both their current tier and progress toward the next one.

Tier determination timing
Before trade execution, the platform checks the trader’s monthly trading volume (in RAT) for the relevant market commission group and identifies the current tier.
If the current execution would cross into a higher tier, the executed volume is split:
Volume up to the threshold is charged at Tier N.
Remaining volume above the threshold is charged at Tier N+1 (and so on, if multiple thresholds are crossed).

Volume metric
Volume is quantified in RAT (Root Asset Type).
Each structure (e.g., Spot vs CFD-FX) maintains its own month-to-date volume counter.
Example: Spot volume does not affect CFD/PF/FX, and vice versa.
Rolling period
At the start of each calendar month, all traders begin at Tier 1 (volume = 0).
At month-end (system time), volume counters are reset to zero.
Fee type consistency
The fee types are consistent across all tiers within a given structure
(e.g., if Tier 1 is % per volume, all tiers in that structure must be % per volume).
Interaction with Commission Rules/Profiles
Tier Commission is configured as a profile attached via commission rules (user/account/group/market/market-group).
Once a tiered profile applies, the fee rate selection within that profile is governed by the tier ladder; static rates in other profiles do not apply.
Partial fills and multi-fills
Fees are computed per executed fill; if a fill spans a threshold, the fill’s RAT notional is split and charged at the appropriate tier rates.

Opportunities of Usage
Opportunities of Usage
Incentivize activity
Lower fees at higher monthly volumes drive more trading and deeper engagement.
Precise segmentation
Independent tier ladders per market category align costs with revenue per book.
Predictable unit economics
Public tier tables reduce disputes and improve sales clarity.
